Purpose and content of the course

Course Objectives: To develop students' basic mathematical concepts, logic and analytical thinking skills.
Course Objective: Gain knowledge for ' basic math topics such as numbers, inequalities, functions and problems

  1) 1. Defines the basic concepts in mathematics and performs operations with numbers
  2) Explains fundamental concepts of mathematics, including functions, limits, derivatives, and integrals. Defines mathematical models used in pharmaceutical and clinical applications.
Skills (Describe as Cognitive and/or Practical Skills.)
  1) Calculates derivatives and integrals of mathematical functions. Applies mathematical methods to pharmaceutical dosage calculations and clinical problems.
  2) 2. Explains mathematics in accordance with the field of Economics and Administrative Sciences
Competences (Described as "Ability of the learner to apply knowledge and skills autonomously with responsibility", "Learning to learn"," Communication and social" and "Field specific" competences.)
  1) Analyzes pharmaceutical data mathematically. Utilizes mathematical results in clinical decision-making.

  3) Demonstrates initiative in learning new mathematical techniques.
  4) Communicates mathematical results within clinical and pharmaceutical teams.
