Purpose and content of the course

Course Objectives: The aim of this course is to ensure that students who take the course first acquire general theoretical knowledge about communication skills and communication processes, and then develop their skills in solving communication problems they will encounter through practical practices.
Course Objective: The goal of this course is to ensure that students who take the course develop effective communication skills in their academic and daily lives.

  1) Improves empathy skills. Can distinguish the concepts of sympathy and empathy.

  1) 1. Explain the concept of communication and information, recognize the steps of non-verbal communication, identify communication obstacles, know the role of the source in communication.
  2) 3. Becomes aware of the effects of the self-concept on our expectations and can distinguish people with positive and negative self-concepts.

  1) Knows and applies methods to avoid conflicts
  2) He says that he communicates with his environment through body language. He is a good body language practitioner. He knows that body language varies from culture to culture.
  3) Can carry out presentation and meeting processes.
  4) Does not use defense mechanisms that prevent communication, shows behaviors that enable open communication, knows psychological defense mechanisms
