Purpose and content of the course

Course Objectives: To express the basic concepts of classroom management, to know the differences between classroom management and discipline, to comprehend the factors affecting classroom management, to believe in the importance of classroom interaction and communication, to explain classroom management models, to develop and apply rules in the classroom, to organize the classroom according to the needs, to deal with undesirable behaviors in the classroom. It is aimed to be able to go out, to believe in the importance of using time effectively in the classroom, to acquire the ability to create a positive classroom environment on examples.
Course Objective: It is aimed that the student will be able to understand the basic concepts of classroom management, the principles of classroom communication and interaction, the importance and benefits of planned work on classroom management, and the ability to plan teaching, as well as the in-class and out-of-class factors affecting the classroom environment and its importance in arranging teaching

  1) Students will learn about basic concepts, principles, facts and theories about classroom management Students will learn about explaining facts and applying principles Students will learn about evaluating teaching strategies suitable for their learning styles in the classroom Students will be able to develop effective classroom management Students will be able to analyze the basic principles of classroom management they will be able to.

  1) Examines the effects of learning theories on the classroom management system. Relates the theoretical structure of classroom management to problems.
Competences (Described as "Ability of the learner to apply knowledge and skills autonomously with responsibility", "Learning to learn"," Communication and social" and "Field specific" competences.)
  1) Knows the dimensions of classroom management and the features of these dimensions. Examines the theoretical approaches regarding the dimensions of classroom management.
  2) Analyzes classroom management approaches. Compares classroom management models.
  3) Knows how to develop and apply rules in the classroom Teacher explains how student communication should be Explains how to deal with undesirable behavior in the classroom.
  4) Explain the importance of time management in terms of effective course process. Knows how to organize the equipment and desks in the classroom in order to carry out the lesson effectively.
