Course Objectives: | Primarily, it is aimed to create a perception of safety culture in the operating room environment and to create awareness of occupational health and safety. Since the historical development of occupational health and safety, labor law, risk factors, occupational diseases, personal protective equipment, etc., which constitute the components of OHS. will be given information about, to have basic knowledge at the end of the term |

1) 1. Students will learn about the historical development of occupational health and safety, occupational accidents and diseases in the operating room, the concept of occupational safety, the importance of occupational safety studies in terms of workforce productivity, the basic elements of occupational safety, sources of hazards, the concept of occupational health, physical, chemical, biological and psychosocial risks. factors, the Labor Law and the Occupational Health and Safety Law at a basic level. |
