Purpose and content of the course

Course Objectives: The aim of the course is to conduct advanced studies on the theoretical foundations of Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy and Cognitive Behavior Therapy.
Course Objective: The history and types of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, its theoretical principles, case studies, advanced techniques will be taught.

  1) 1-Comprehends the interdisciplinary interaction with which the field is related. 2-Comprehends the basic concepts in Social and Behavioral Sciences and has a command of the relations between concepts. 3-Has basic information about the rules of operation of people and inter-communal relations.
Skills (Describe as Cognitive and/or Practical Skills.)
  1) 1-Has the ability to analyze the theoretical information about the field and evaluate its reflections in practice. 2-Has a command of the theories in the field of social and behavioral sciences and has the knowledge to prepare reports in working life and to prepare works in accordance with academic rules. 3-Has the ability to use the knowledge of the field in decision making, implementation and behavior. 4-Identifies the problems encountered in the field and develops or analyzes solutions using research methods.
Competences (Described as "Ability of the learner to apply knowledge and skills autonomously with responsibility", "Learning to learn"," Communication and social" and "Field specific" competences.)
  1) 1-Solves an issue related to the field independently, either as a team or independently. 2- Takes responsibility individually and as a team to solve any malfunction or problem that may be seen in the application related to the field and takes initiative when necessary. 3-Plans and manages all kinds of projects or goals related to the field. 4- In the process of teamwork, it shows that he is aware of the leadership responsibility he should take when he deems it necessary. 5-Determines the vision, purpose and target related to the field of study. 6-Expands the boundaries of knowledge in the field by preparing and publishing at least one scientific article related to the field with individual or team work.
