Purpose and content of the course

Course Objectives: Office Software course enables you to develop the ability to use office software effectively and efficiently, which has an indispensable place in today's digital business environments.
Course Objective: The main goal of the Office Software course is to make students proficient users of office software, which is an integral part of the business world and academic studies.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge (Described as Theoritical and/or Factual Knowledge.)
  1) Introduction and Use of Basic Office Software: General features, basic functions and application areas of basic office software such as word processors, spreadsheets, presentation software, database management systems and e-mail management.
  2) File Management: File formats, file conversions, effective file naming and organization techniques.
  3) Data Security and Privacy: Data protection techniques, secure file sharing and backup methods.
Skills (Describe as Cognitive and/or Practical Skills.)
  1) Document Preparation and Editing: Techniques for creating, editing and formatting professional documents using Word processors.
  2) Working with Spreadsheets: Basic and advanced formulas, creating graphs and tables, data analysis and reporting skills in spreadsheet software.
  3) Presentation Preparation: Techniques for preparing impressive presentations, combining visual and text content effectively, audience interaction and tools to be used during the presentation.
Competences (Described as "Ability of the learner to apply knowledge and skills autonomously with responsibility", "Learning to learn"," Communication and social" and "Field specific" competences.)
  1) Problem Solving and Decision Making: Solving problems encountered in business and academic scenarios using office software and making data-based decisions.
