Purpose and content of the course

Course Objectives: This lesson aims to teach students the purpose, philosophy and principles of palliative care, to know the roles and responsibilities of the palliative care team, to determine the palliative care needs of the patient and their family, to manage the symptoms of palliative care patients, and to know the duties and responsibilities of the palliative care team. It aims to know the necessary knowledge and skills in the application of effective coping methods with the care process and the mourning period, and the roles, duties and responsibilities of palliative care nursing.
Course Objective: To know the roles, duties and responsibilities of palliative care nursing and to manage the symptoms of palliative care patients.
