Purpose and content of the course

Course Objectives: To teach the interactions of nutrients and nutrients with drug groups used in the clinic and to provide diet planning according to medical medication.
Course Objective: To be able to master topics such as interactions between various drugs and drug groups and nutrients and nutrients; the effect of drug therapy on nutritional status; interactions between drugs and carbohydrates, proteins, lipids, vitamins and minerals.

  1) Learns which nutrients or nutrient groups may change the effectiveness of which drugs. Learn about the nutrients and nutrients that affect the absorption and bioavailability of some drug groups.

  1) Learn about the side effects of drugs related to nutrition and use this information in dietary practices.

  1) Utilizes the knowledge and skills acquired about the interaction of drugs with macro and micronutrients in diet preparation, Adapt drug-nutrient interactions to our daily lives for a healthy life.
