Purpose and content of the course

Course Objectives: This course aims to provide the student with knowledge and skills about the basic knowledge and concepts of Public Health Nursing, health care systems, protection, maintenance and improvement of individual, family and community health, control of global public health problems, health education, consultancy services and public health practices.
Course Objective: To know the basic knowledge, concepts and principles of public health nursing.
To know the basic dynamics of community groups and to be aware of their problems.
To know the public health practices aimed at protecting, maintaining and improving the health of individuals, families and community groups and to be able to use them in areas where community groups are served (school, workplace, home care, etc.).
