Purpose and content of the course

Course Objectives: Course Objectives is; Students will be able to interpret pharmacology and drug concepts, learn general concepts related to drug licensing, interpret basic concepts such as pharmacodynamics, pharmacokinetics, drug mechanisms, drug interactions, drug administration routes, drug safety, pharmacogenetics, and drug therapy management, antibiotics, antifungal, and antiviral drugs. To be able to classify general concepts about CNS and central nervous system-related diseases, to classify general anesthetics, local anesthetics, CNS stimulants, drugs used in pain management and alcoholism treatment, antipsychotic, antiepileptic, antidepressant, sedative-hypnotic, anxiolytic, Parkinson and dementia treatment. To be able to classify and interpret drugs used, to classify respiratory, renal, and gastrointestinal system diseases and drugs used in the treatment of these diseases, and to teach the harms of smoking and smoking cessation treatments. to enable them to interpret it.
Course Objective: Interpreting pharmacology and drug concepts
Interprets pharmacodynamics, pharmacokinetics, pharmacogenetics, drug action mechanisms, drug therapy management, prescription concept, and drug administration methods. Interpreting the general principles of antibacterial therapy and classifying antibiotics
Classifying antiviral and antifungal drugs, Interpreting the basic concepts and diseases related to the central nervous system. drugs used, central nervous system stimulants, and psychotomimetics)
Interpreting respiratory system diseases and drugs used in their treatment
Interpreting gastrointestinal system diseases and drugs used in their treatment
