Purpose and content of the course

Course Objectives: To know the physical therapy applications in orthopedic diseases
Course Objective: To know the physical therapy applications for which the physiotherapist is responsible in orthopedic diseases

  1) Knows and defines orthopedic diseases.
  2) Knows orthopedic physiotherapy and rehabilitation methods.

  1) Applies physiotherapy and rehabilitation in orthopedic problems related to the musculoskeletal system.
  2) Evaluates fractures, soft tissue, and orthopedic problems related to the upper and lower extremities, plans, and implements physiotherapy and rehabilitation interventions.
Competences (Described as "Ability of the learner to apply knowledge and skills autonomously with responsibility", "Learning to learn"," Communication and social" and "Field specific" competences.)
  1) Conducts physiotherapy and rehabilitation assessment in orthopedic diseases.
  2) Shares thoughts on physiotherapy and rehabilitation in orthopedic diseases, supported by quantitative and qualitative data.
  3) Follows the literature on physiotherapy and rehabilitation in orthopedic diseases, creates and implements treatment programs.
