Course Objectives: | Students are expected to: ▪ demonstrate familiarity with key concepts and theoretical framework related to developmenal psychopathology, ▪ identify symptoms related to psychological disorders during childhood and adolescence, ▪ identify risk factors, aetiology and be familiar with the treatment techniques, ▪ demonstrate critical thinking |
Course Objective: | This course is designed to provide students with an in dept exploration of early maladaptive development. Emotional, behavioral and cognitive aspects of psychological problems during childhood and adolescence will be explored within the developmental scope. The course will touch on the aetiology, prognosis, risk factors, protective factors and intervention techniques. |
