PURPOSE OF THE PROGRAM
To train psychologists with high ethical values by giving theoretical and methodological knowledge in psychology. To create the infrastructure of academicians at a level that can follow the foreign sources related to the science in their original language.
1. Has a command of the basic concepts, theoretical models, historical trends, and current developments in psychology. Uses inquiry skills related to the field and establishes connections between what they have learned.
2. Can design research, collect data, analyze data, and interpret data using basic research methods within the framework of psychological science.
3. Embraces the values of psychology as a science, can work across disciplines, values empirical evidence, and adheres to professional and research ethical principles.
4. Can apply the knowledge and theories of psychology to individual, social, cultural, and institutional issues, approaches to events and problems, and their interpretation.
5. Possesses effective communication and presentation skills, can work in teams, and can effectively use current teaching technology tools.
