Purpose and content of the course

Course Objectives: It is aimed that students have knowledge and skills about the basic concepts, rules and principles of first aid.
Course Objective: This course; It covers the basic concepts of first aid, first aid practices and patient care in cases of bleeding, injury, shock, trauma, poisoning and systems emergencies.
Mode of Delivery: Face to face

  1) To have theoretical and applied knowledge about first aid applications.

  1) Evaluates the basic life functions correctly.
  2) To be able to evaluate basic life functions correctly
  3) Recognizes events that require first aid intervention.
  4) To be able to use basic theoretical and applied knowledge about first aid.
  5) To be able to recognize events that require first aid intervention

  1) Takes responsibility as a first aider in an accident or life-threatening situations.
  2) To be able to take responsibility as a first aider in an accident or life-threatening situations.
  3) To have sufficient awareness to ensure self and environmental safety in case of accident or life-threatening situations.
  4) Able to communicate incidents requiring first aid response with the 112 team
  5) Ability to communicate with the 112 team for incidents requiring first aid intervention
  6) He/she has sufficient awareness to ensure his/her own and environmental safety in case of accident or life-threatening situations.
