Course Objectives: | This 1-credit asynchronous Business English course aims to equip university students from various departments (such as Nursing, Dentistry, Digital Game Design, Physical Therapy, Psychology, Nutrition and Dietetics, Gastronomy, Business Management, etc.) with essential business communication skills in English. The course focuses on workplace communication, professional writing, negotiation, presentations, and cultural awareness to enhance students’ proficiency in professional settings. |
Course Objective: | Objectives: By the end of this asynchronous Business English course, students will be able to: 1. Communicate Professionally – Develop clear, polite, and effective written and spoken communication skills for business settings. 2. Write Business Documents – Produce professional emails, CVs, cover letters, reports, and business proposals using appropriate tone and structure. 3. Engage in Business Interactions – Participate effectively in workplace conversations, meetings, and negotiations with culturally appropriate communication strategies. 4. Enhance Presentation & Networking Skills – Deliver structured presentations and build professional relationships through effective networking strategies. 5. Understand Workplace Ethics & Culture – Apply ethical decision-making and cross-cultural communication skills in diverse business environments. |
