Purpose and content of the course

Course Objectives: To create the treatment planning with all alternatives by considering the individual characteristics of each patient, to gain clinical experience in diagnosis and treatment planning.
Course Objective: To be able to plan dental treatments according to the needs of the patients, to report and interpret advanced radiological examinations, to manage the follow-up and treatment protocols.

  1) Combines medical and dental history, clinical and radiographic examination findings to make a diagnosis.
  2) Performs radiological imaging, interprets and reports findings.
  3) Provides solutions to problems related to oral and dental health with scientific data/evidence.
  4) Performs individual and multidisciplinary treatment plans in accordance with the needs of the patient.
Competences (Described as "Ability of the learner to apply knowledge and skills autonomously with responsibility", "Learning to learn"," Communication and social" and "Field specific" competences.)
  1) Creates a comprehensive diagnosis, treatment and/or referral plan for the management of patient.
  2) Selects proper radiodiagnostic methods in oral diagnosis and performs patient safety procedures.
  3) Makes the differential diagnosis of oral pathologies and treats or refers appropriately.
