Purpose and content of the course

Course Objectives: To teach nutritional problems in society, their causes and solutions, preparation and implementation of national food and nutrition policies.
Course Objective: To learn nutritional problems and epidemiology in Turkey and the world, nutritional supplements and nutrient enrichment, national food and nutrition plans and policies.

  1) Understands the importance of management and organization in the organization providing mass nutrition services, learns the managerial role of the dietitian and improves knowledge and skills in this regard.

  1) Observes the processes of mass feeding systems and interprets them with existing theoretical knowledge.
  2) Gains the ability to see the problems encountered in mass feeding systems, analyze them, solve problems and make decisions.
Competences (Described as "Ability of the learner to apply knowledge and skills autonomously with responsibility", "Learning to learn"," Communication and social" and "Field specific" competences.)
  1) Learns menu planning applications for the target group served.
  2) Observes and interprets the processes of mass feeding systems in terms of food safety.
