Course Objectives: | To give an overview of the basic theories of human communication in rhetoric, group and interpersonal relations. |
Course Objective: | Effective communication skills are fundamental to success in many aspects of life. Many jobs require strong communication skills. People with good communication skills also usually enjoy better interpersonal relationships with friends, collegues and family. The aim of this course is to enable students to communicate clearly and effectively by improving their verbal and non-verbal communication styles and interpersonal skills. |

1) To gain a basic understanding of the principles and techniques of persuasion in interpersonal, group, public speaking contexts. |
