Purpose and content of the course
| Course Objectives: | This course aims to provide students with the ability to analyse the historical moments that led to social, political and economic transformations from the ancient times to the 19th century. |
| Course Objective: | To learn the historical and political concepts. To be able to analyse the social, political and economic changes within a historical perspective from the ancient societies to the 19th century. To grasp the knowledge about the prominent historical actors. |

1) Grasp the political, social, cultural changes and transformations in a historical framework. |

3) Identifiy the turning points in 19th- and 20th-century political history (the World Wars, the Cold War, the formation of blocs, decolonization, and the collapse of the Soviet Union) and the structural transformations of the international system. |
