Purpose and content of the course

Course Objectives: This course aims to enable social work students to critically discuss the historical development of human rights, its philosophical foundations, the philosophical-sociological political framework of the concept of rights, and the ontological link between human rights and social work, and to understand and critically discuss forms of oppression, discrimination and social injustice.
