Purpose and content of the course

Course Objectives: To comprehend the basic properties of dental materials used in dental clinic and laboratory.

Course Objective: To explain the biological, chemical, mechanical and physical properties of materials used in dentistry

  1) Students select and apply the right material to be used during the treatment.
  2) Students inform the clinical assistants on the correct use of materials.
