Purpose and content of the course

Course Objectives: To understand the social and cultural effects of conventional and digital media use. Approaching popular culture with a critical perspective. To be able to analyze the structural features of popular culture products.
Course Objective: To provide the basic cultural infrastructure to better understand and interpret popular culture. Thus, to be able to define concepts and views related to media and popular culture. To understand what the economic, political and cultural codes of the media sector are.
