Course Objectives: | Students are expected to develop basic understanding of: ▪ the structure and functioning of the human nervous system (basic brain and spinal cord structures, neurons and their functions) ▪ the relationship between mental and physiological processes, ▪ the brain structures and their relation to the mechanisms of sensation and perception, ▪ hormone–behavior interaction, ▪ psychophysiological methodology, research and techniques |
Course Objective: | This course is designed to provide students with key concepts of psychophysiology. Fundamental properties of neurons, neuronal activities and related mental processes will be explored in relation to sensory, hormonal, behavioral and psychological functions. |
