Purpose and content of the course

Course Objectives:	It is aimed that the students have knowledge and skills about the basic concepts of operating room and operating room nursing, the roles and responsibilities of the nurse and other surgical team members, and the subjects related to performing the surgical intervention in safe conditions.
Course Objective:	This lesson; It covers the standards that should be found and created in the operating room, the structure, architecture and management of the operating room, patient positions in the operating room, the operating room team and especially the duties, authorities and responsibilities of the scrub and circulating nurse, patient and employee safety in the operating room.

1) To be able to interpret and evaluate the problems faced by patients before, during and after surgery, to analyze and to develop solutions
