Purpose and content of the course

Course Objectives: Focusing on the use of applied and theoretical visual design programs. Helping to produce professional and personal visual needs.
Course Objective: Preparing portfolio by using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator programs. Designing corporate identity elements.

2) Recognize graphic formats and file types. Introduction to Adobe Illustrator with terms used by computer-based visual production programs
3) Free-organic drawings with Pen Tool in Adobe Illustrator
4) Using panels in Adobe Illustrator. Creating shapes with the Pathfinder panel
5) Use and controls of drawing and color palettes. Application. Character Design
6) Use and control of writing and drawing tools. Application. Printed Poster Design
7) Mask usage and controls in text and visual objects. Application. Advertising Poster Design
8) Introduction to Adobe Photoshop. Pixel-based file formats, visual development processes, resolution settings and use of tools. Application. Photo Manipulation
9) Use of colors and color palettes. Hue-Saturation-Luminance (HSL) controls. Creating a color palette with Adobe Kuler. Digital or printed image with container technique
10) Effect and Color Arrangements. Color editing and effects applications in pixel-based visuals. Transferring RAW images to PS by making them ready for editing
11) Use of Pen Tool and Masking tools. Application. Advertising Design
