Course Objectives: |
The course of normal labor, the stages of labor and risk factors, different presentations, labor pain and management (using non-pharmacological methods) skills, recognizing the active birth positions given to the pregnant woman and applying and following them in order to ensure the progression of labor, postpartum period characteristics and maternal and maternal It is aimed to comprehend the issues of baby care. |

It is aimed that students will be able to comprehend information about the physiology of normal birth, its stages, the body's response to birth, labor pain, mother's preparation for birth, follow-up in the first, second and third stages of labor, evaluation and follow-up of the mother and baby, initiation of breastfeeding in the early postpartum period, and care of the mother in the postpartum period. . |
