Purpose and content of the course

Course Objectives: To know the scope and main features of infectious diseases.
Course Objective: To have knowledge of the main infectious infections in humans. To know the etiology and diagnostic methods of infections encountered in midwifery practices. Knows and applies the methods of protection from infections.

  1) Applies standard isolation methods in the prevention of communicable diseases.
  2) Performs hand hygiene properly.
