Purpose and content of the course

Course Objectives: The aim is to enable students to comprehend the strategic importance of information and technology, to analyze information management processes, and to develop the ability to make effective decisions in the digital transformation process.

  1) Recognizes the strategic role of information and technology. Explains information management processes. Interprets the concept of digital transformation and its components. Understands digitalization processes in the public and private sectors and evaluates them through examples. Identifies data-driven decision-making tools. Evaluates issues related to information security and ethics. Develops awareness of data privacy, cybersecurity, and ethical responsibilities. Recognizes next-generation technologies and analyzes their areas of use.
