Purpose and content of the course

Course Objectives: The aim of this course is to enable students to use written and oral communication processes effectively, accurately, and appropriately, to develop their skills in using Turkish consciously within the framework of grammar, expression, and communication rules, and to acquire the communication competencies necessary for professional life. The course aims to enable students to express themselves clearly and effectively in different communication environments.
Course Objective: Students who successfully complete this course are expected to:

Be familiar with the basic concepts of written and oral communication,

Use grammar, spelling, and punctuation rules correctly in written expression,

Apply emphasis, intonation, and effective speaking techniques in oral communication,

Develop appropriate expression styles and tones for different communication environments,

Acquire effective communication skills in professional and social communication,

Develop an ethical and responsible awareness in written and oral communication.

  1) In preparing written texts and oral presentations, they plan, manage the process, and take responsibility for communication.
  2) They effectively use verbal and written communication skills in different communication settings (individual, group, community).
  3) They utilize written and oral communication skills appropriately in professional and academic contexts.
