Purpose and content of the course

Course Objectives: The objective of this course is to provide students with the ability to analyze the aging process from a biopsychosocial perspective and to teach preventive, promotive, and rehabilitative intervention strategies aimed at enhancing the quality of life for older adults.
Course Objective: Upon successful completion of this course, the student will comprehend the societal impacts of global demographic transitions and integrate the core components of active aging—health, participation, and security—into professional practices. Furthermore, the student will gain the skills to identify geriatric syndromes, develop evidence-based approaches to preserve independence in old age, and design innovative models that support digital health literacy and social adaptation for older individuals.
