| Course Objectives: |
The aim of this course is to equip students with the ability to critically analyze media messages. Within the scope of the course, topics such as media production processes, representation, ideology, advertising, public relations, digital culture, and algorithms will be examined.
Students will understand that media content does not merely transmit information but also produces meanings, values, and norms. The course will analyze how media shapes everyday life, identity construction, and consumption behaviors.
The ultimate goal is to help students become conscious media consumers and responsible digital actors. |
