Purpose and content of the course

Course Objectives: the aim of this course is to comprehensively examine the historical, political, economic, and legal relations between Türkiye and the European Union. The aim is to equip students with the ability to analyze Türkiye's EU accession process from a historical perspective, evaluate the key stages of accession negotiations, and interpret current relations from a multidimensional perspective.
Course Objective: This course aims to equip students with the competence to evaluate Türkiye-EU relations from a multifaceted perspective, from historical, political and economic perspectives, and to develop the ability to analytically examine the EU's decision-making mechanisms, enlargement policies and Türkiye's position in this process.
