Purpose and content of the course

Course Objectives: To have knowledge about the basic concepts of forensic psychology.
To learn the relationship of forensic psychology with other fields of psychology.
Course Objective:  To develop a certain understanding of what forensic psychology is and what it is not,
 To learn the applications of psychology in legal and criminal justice systems at a basic level,
 To obtain information about the types of criminal behavior and its psychosocial consequences,
 To understand the basic concepts of criminal and victim psychology,
 To establish a relationship between criminal behavior and psychopathology and
 To learn the duties and responsibilities of forensic psychologists.
