Purpose and content of the course

Course Objectives: To know the basic photography and photography principles in dentistry. To know and apply the standards of taking intraoral and extraoral photographs, which have an important role in archiving patient records, treatment planning, guiding treatment during the operation and post-operative comparisons in dentistry
Course Objective: To know the basic parts of cameras and their functions. To understand the working principles of cameras. To know the techniques of taking intraoral and extraoral photographs in dentistry.

  1) Takes intraoral and extraoral photographs accurately and in accordance with standards.
  2) Archives the captured photos.
  3) Edits the captured photos.

  1) He/she makes patient, dentist and technician communication understandable and fast in terms of clinical functioning with the photographs which he/she takes correctly in the dental field.
