Course Objectives: | 1.To understand the treatment approaches to dental caries in pediatric patients, to plan appropriate treatment in the patient, and to restore dental caries with restorative and endodontic treatments. 2.To count the developmental stages of occlusion in pediatric patients, to diagnose the malocclusions,correctly, to list the treatment methods, to understand and apply the preventive-interceptive orthodontic approach, to analyze the risk of caries in pediatric patients. |
Course Objective: | 1.To count the characteristics of dental caries in primary and young permanent teeth in pediatric patients, to list the treatment stages completely, to restore dental caries in pediatric patients with restorative and endodontic treatment methods. 2.To take into account the characteristics of dentition periods, developmental stages of children and the risk of caries while making treatment plans in pediatric patients. To apply space maintainers and habit-breaking appliances for the treatment of malocclusions in primary and mixed dentition. |

3) Distinguishes between healthy pulp and pulp diseases.Lists the stages of endodontic treatment without error. |

4) Gains knowledge about local anesthesia and extraction techniques in pediatric patients. |

5) Lists the occlusion development stages without error. Comprehends the principles of preventive orthodontic approach. |

6) Comprehends the principles of dental approach to the disabled child patient. |
