Course Objectives: | To know the differences between the morphology of primary and permanent teeth. To comprehend the cavity principles of primary and permanent teeth. To know the basics of preventive dentistry practices in pediatric dentistry |
Course Objective: | To know the differences between primary and permanent teeth. To know and apply preventive treatments such as fissure sealant and local fluoride applications for pediatric patients. To make cavity preparations on primary and permanent teeth. To know the basic concepts of oral and dental health of children, to understand the development of deciduous and permanent teeth and their developmental disorders, to understand the initial caries in primary and permanent teeth and to be familiar with treatment approaches, to know the dental materials used in pedodontics. |
