Course Objectives: | To educate students who have knowledge in molecular biology, cell biology and molecular genetics and who can adapt the knowledge they have acquired to their field. |
Course Objective: | To learn the living system, biomolecules, cell structure and functions, energy metabolism, quality of genetic material, DNA packaging and chromosome structure, RNA structure, synthesis and function, genetic code and protein synthesis, basic principles of heredity and Mendelian inheritance in single gene diseases in humans, cell cycle and the importance of cell division, mutation, nutrition-related genes and biotechnological products. |
