Purpose and content of the course

Course Objectives: To understand the development of primary dentition and neutral occlusion, to evaluate the factors affecting the normal development of occlusion. To understand the growth and development of oro-facial structures.
Course Objective: To be able to make preventive orthodontic treatment plans and applications suitable for age and developmental level, together with the diagnosis, clinical and radiological evaluation of malocclusion in pediatric patients.

  1) Explains individual malocclusion risk analysis.
  2) Evaluates the patient's need for treatment.

  1) Evaluates the malocclusion clinically and radiologically in pediatric patients, diagnoses, makes a treatment plan and applies the appropriate appliances.

  1) Aapplies preventive and interceptive orthodontic treatment plan in pediatric patients,
  2) Takes part in the multidisciplinary team in the treatment of dento-facial anomalies in pediatric patients.
