Purpose and content of the course

Course Objectives: To know the harmful effects of radiation. To understand protection from harmful
effects.
Course Objective: To know the properties of radiation. To comprehend the effects and harms on
the environment. To have knowledge about possible ways to be protected from
harmful effects.

  1) 1. Recognizes the concept of radiation in depth and knows all its features. 2. Knows the interaction forms of radiation with matter. 3. Knows the effects of ionizing radiation on the human body. 4. Knows the principles that can be applied to protect from radiation.

  1) 5. It protects itself and those around it against radiation. 6. Knows the rights he has within the framework of the Radiation Safety Legislation. 7. Uses radiation measurement systems.
