Purpose and content of the course

Course Objectives: To understand the process of caries formation in dental hard tissues, To be familiar with direct adhesive restorations
To do the restorative dental treatment with the correct stages.
Course Objective: To have information about the physical and chemical properties of dental hard tissues, caries formation process and etiological factors, to evaluate the caries risk, to be familiar with matrix applications.
To know the characteristics of carious tissue and to be able to treat it. To know the sequence of restorative operations. To put indications for restorative dental treatment and to be able to treat it.

  1) Knows the cavity principles and how to apply dental matrix.
  2) Knows the characteristics and etiologies of different caries in different tissues.

  1) Knows the correct caries approach. He/She treats dental caries with different restorations.
  2) Applies adhesive restorative procedures. He/She perfoms all restorative treatments.
Competences (Described as "Ability of the learner to apply knowledge and skills autonomously with responsibility", "Learning to learn"," Communication and social" and "Field specific" competences.)
  1) He/She has knowledge of different clinical indications that he/she may encounter in professional life.
  2) In professional life, he/she does all the work from indication to treatment related to restorative dental treatment.
