Purpose and content of the course

Course Objectives: Students will have knowledge about non-pharmacologic applications at the scene to save life in life-threatening situations or to prevent the situation from worsening.
Course Objective: To be able to make the correct first aid intervention to the patient / injured, to prevent his / her condition from getting worse and to understand that he / she should not jeopardize his / her own life while intervening.
Mode of Delivery: Face to face

  1) To be able to have theoretical and practical knowledge about first aid applications.

  1) To be able to recognize events requiring first aid intervention.
  2) Correct assessment of basic life functions.
  3) To be able to use basic theoretical and practical knowledge about first aid.
Competences (Described as "Ability of the learner to apply knowledge and skills autonomously with responsibility", "Learning to learn"," Communication and social" and "Field specific" competences.)
  1) To be able to take responsibility as a first aid in accidents or life-threatening situations.
  2) To be able to communicate with 112 team in cases requiring first aid intervention.
  3) To be able to have sufficient awareness about ensuring their own and environmental safety in situations that endanger accidents or life.
