Purpose and content of the course

Course Objectives: It is aimed to provide students with the confidence and ability to overcome all kinds of problems in the course and clinical periods of infectious diseases by defining, classifying, sampling and teaching commonly used terminology of infectious agents, disease-causing bacteria and viruses.
Course Objective: It is aimed for the student to know the properties of the causative agents of infectious diseases and the infection chain, to gain knowledge and skills to prevent nosocomial infections, to gain knowledge and skills related to the methods of protection from infectious diseases, to understand the importance of early diagnosis in infectious diseases, to know the transmission routes, clinical findings, diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases.

  7) Defines what is isolation and how it is applied.
  8) Comprehends the symptoms of respiratory, digestive, skin, mucous, blood and sexually transmitted diseases, prevention methods, treatment and emergency care.
