Course Objectives: | This course presents an overview of the field of Economics for non-Economists. We will learn what Economics is about, and what are the principles of economics. We will deal with topics such as what is supply and demand, what determines consumers’ decisions, why do producers sell goods at certain prices, what is unemployment and what can we do about it, what is inflation, how can we measure the economic performance and what are the variables of macroeconomics. |
Course Objective: | This course should also help to improve analytical skills, to acquire fundamental knowledge, to prepare students to learn even more complicated economic and business disciplines, to use them in understanding real events, political issues and to apply them into practices. |
