Purpose and content of the course

Course Objectives: The physiotherapist must know orthoses, their types and indications.
Teaching the patient the selection and application of the necessary orthosis and patient education.
Course Objective: To know the orthoses that can be used in different pathologies and symptoms and to compare the application features of the orthoses that can be used.
To understand orthosis indications, modifications, possible complications and orthosis rehabilitation.
Mode of Delivery: Face to face

  2) Explains the effects of orthoses on treatment to the patient.
  3) Gains knowledge about orthosis construction.

  2) Applies the orthosis to the patient.
  3) Knows how to choose orthoses suitable for disease and injury.

  1) Knows and applies some hand and foot orthoses.
  2) Performs rehabilitation of the patient using orthosis.
  3) Provides training to the patient about the use of orthoses.
