Course Objectives: | In this course, the concepts of ethics, deontology and morality, the concept of science, the characteristics of science, scientific research types, scientific research ethics and rules and principles to be followed while conducting scientific research, scientific publication, scientific publication ethics and scientific publication rules and principles, on people. Scientific research and clinical practices and related ethical principles, Nurnberg Code, Declaration of Helsinki, patient/client rights and responsibilities, the concept of professional ethics, clinical and application areas in speech and language therapy, professional ethics in the field of speech and language therapy, and Speech and Language Therapists Association of Ethical Principles Statement, current ethical research and ethical dilemmas in the field of speech and language therapy, introduction to evidence-based practices, evidence-based practices, types of evidence and use of evidence in evidence-based practices, clinical decision-making process and steps in evidence-based practices are aimed to be taught. |
Course Objective: | In this course, students will learn the concepts of ethics, deontology and morality; It is aimed to be able to apply scientific research and publication ethics and professional ethics of language and speech therapy to the events encountered in daily or professional life. |
