Purpose and content of the course

Course Objectives: This course aims to provide students with basic skills about fluency disorders.
Course Objective: To understand the causes of fluency disorders, to evaluate fluency, to distinguish between normal moments of fluency and stuttering, to master the theories of stuttering
Mode of Delivery: Face to face

  1) Knows the theories about fluency disorders, has knowledge of the literature on the causes of stuttering
Skills (Describe as Cognitive and/or Practical Skills.)
  1) Evaluates fluency disorders, accurately detects stuttering and distorted speech moments. Makes case analysis.
Competences (Described as "Ability of the learner to apply knowledge and skills autonomously with responsibility", "Learning to learn"," Communication and social" and "Field specific" competences.)
  1) Understands, diagnoses and evaluates fluency disorders.
