Purpose and content of the course

Course Objectives: To be familiar with the treatment practices in the surgical and prosthetic branches of dentistry.
Course Objective: To be able to define patient preparation in oral, dental and maxillofacial surgery and prosthetic dental treatment.
To be able to explain the sterilization stages of the instruments used in the treatment stages.
To be able to comprehend the effective use of all materials used in related branches.

2) construction stages of fixed prosthetic restorations / tooth groups, numbering systems
3) construction stages of fixed prostheses-I (preparation)/ infection control and sterilization
4) construction phases of fixed prostheses-II (measure)/ introduction to oral surgery
5) construction stages of fixed prostheses-III (infrastructure rehearsal)/ materials for oral and maxillofacial surgery
6) construction stages of fixed prostheses - IV (temporary restoration) / surgical operations in dentistry
7) construction stages of fixed prostheses-V (superstructure rehearsal, cementation) / preparation of the patient for surgical treatment
8) partial dentures-I / tooth extraction
9) partial dentures-II / impacted dental surgery
10) TMJ disorders, maxillofacial prostheses, cleft lip and palate / Importance of surgery in terms of dentist assistant
11) CAD/CAM applications / first aid knowledge
12) dental photography / post-operative procedures applied to the patient
13) Implant prostheses/ local hemostatic agents
14) Importance of prosthesis for dental assistant / infectious diseases in dentistry
