Purpose and content of the course

Course Objectives: It is possible to analyze social problems quantitatively and qualitatively and to reveal the solutions based on evidence through social work research. In this course, it is aimed to deal with research knowledge in the context of social work practice.
Course Objective: To be able to research and identify social problems in the field of Social Services and to solve the problem with practice.

  1) Identify the research problem. 2. Justify why the research problem should be investigated. 3. Determines the needs in his research. Uses Qualitative and Quantitative Research in Social Work Practice.

  1) Gathers and inputs data. 2. Uses measurement methods. 3. Makes a need assessment for the problem that he/she researched and performs a social work intervention.
