| Course Objectives: |
The Communication Skills course aims to develop students' ability to communicate effectively in their personal, academic, and professional lives. In this course, students will learn the basic concepts, types, and processes of communication, thereby strengthening both their verbal and written expression skills. They will also have the opportunity to gain practical experience in fundamental communication elements such as body language, empathy, active listening, giving feedback, and conflict resolution. The course emphasizes the importance of communication at the interpersonal, group, and organizational levels, aiming to prepare students to be effective communicators in their professional lives. Thus, students will be trained to be individuals who can communicate accurately, clearly, and persuasively in professional settings, understand different perspectives, and contribute to teamwork. |
| Course Objective: |
The primary goal of the Communication Skills course is to enable students to express themselves accurately, effectively, and confidently in different environments. Within this scope, students are expected to consciously use verbal, written, and visual communication channels, identify communication barriers, and develop strategies to overcome them. The course also aims to strengthen students' empathy, listening, feedback, and conflict management skills. Thus, students will be able to take on a more effective role in their professional and social lives by adopting an open, respectful, and solution-oriented communication style in both their personal and professional lives. |
