PURPOSE OF THE PROGRAM:
Occupational Health and Safety is a phenomenon that deals with work accidents and occupational diseases and aims to improve the quality of both the work done and the working environment by aiming for the employees to work in safe environments and conditions. In this context, the program aims to provide students with theoretical and practical knowledge and to use it in their lives.
DEGREE AWARDED:
The students who successfully complete the program are awarded the degree of Yüksek Lisans .

Realization of ISTANBUL KENT UNIVERSITY GRADUATE-EDUCATION AND EDUCATION REGULATIONS.

GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS:
İlgili programdan mezun olacak öğrenci aşağıdaki şartları yerine getirmek durumundadır:
The student who does a master's degree without thesis; GPA must be at least 2.50 in order to graduate. Students are obliged to take repeat or new courses until they meet the average requirement.
RECOGNITION OF PRIOR LEARNING:
Successful students who have completed at least one semester in an Institute's department or in another higher education institution's master's program can be admitted to master's programs through lateral transfer.

4-Complete and apply knowledge with scientific methods using limited or incomplete data.
5-Develops methods to solve Occupational Health and Safety problems and applies these innovative methods.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS AND RULES PRESENTED IN THE PROGRAM:
Non-thesis master's program; It consists of the courses stipulated by the department of the institute/institute of the institute and the graduation project, provided that it is equivalent to 70 ECTS and 30 credits and at least 10 courses and a graduation project.
A student can enroll in a maximum of 15 credits per semester. Credit and evaluation are carried out according to the principles determined by the Senate.
The non-thesis master's program can be completed in at least two and at most three semesters.
The student who cannot successfully complete the credit load and the graduation project course at the end of the maximum period is dismissed from the University.
Students who complete their first semester in the non-thesis master's program enroll in a graduation project course in the second semester with the courses or in the third semester, and a faculty member is assigned to the students as an advisor within the scope of the relevant course.
The non-thesis master's program student informs the institute about the project subject with the graduation project proposal form, which includes the approval of his/her advisor, within fifteen days from the start of the semester when he/she is enrolled in the graduation project course.
The student can request a change in the project subject, provided that he/she re-registers the project course at the beginning of the semester in which he/she will repeat the project course.
EXAMS, MEASUREMENT AND EVALUATION:
Exams are evaluated out of 100 full marks. Year-end success grade; It is the grade obtained as a result of the addition of 40% of the yearly grade point average and 60% of the end-of-year exam grade.

The measurement and evaluation methods applied for each course are determined by the relevant faculty members and are included in the "course content information".
Measurement and evaluation methods can be in the form of mid-term exam, final exam, oral exam, quiz, homework, short project.
